I had one of the worst weeks. I needed something to cheer me up. So, I recalled one of the best days I’ve had in a while…
I was at a local mall and saw some women with a lot of balloons right next to the Breast Cancer/Mammogram Awareness table. I dared to ask for a balloon! But the lady denied and said, “It’s only for decoration and for kids.” So when she wasn’t looking, I took one. And decided to walk around town with it tied to my purse.

I was a bit giddy like a kid. What grown women would walk around town like this?

No matter how silly I looked I didn’t care! Because this man found the perfect accessories!

At the end of the night, I decided to pass on the fun and tied the balloon to a stranger’s car.

We’re all on borrowed “helium”. So why not make the best and most of it?
Lastly, to women of a certain age, remember to get a mammogram once a year!

…from this blog and you loyal readers
.

- I changed the blog name to BubbleMayhem and I organized the Categories on the right sidebar so hopefully that’s helpful. I think the new name is more fitting.
- I’ll also blog more about web design and stuff that I find inspiring.
- Suzie, Sarah, and I took a thrilling trapeze class!
- I finally joined Flickr, check out my Photostream.
- I’ve been going through a Jack Johnson (his new album is superb!), Broken Bells, and Death Cab for Cutie music binge.
- The lucky bamboo that keeps me company at work was not so lucky. It suffered from terminal mold.
- I’m still enjoying being a webdesignerd, loving life, and still taking countless pictures.
Watch out for more fun to come!

Bare with me…String Theory keeps Physicists postulating about the overall make up of the universe from atoms, to hadrons, to quarks while the M-Theory tries to tie in different String Theories.

Here’s my version of the String Theory: It is something that keeps a person, like me, in one-piece and not fall to pieces. In short, it is a strong force that keeps a quarky* person whole.

I hear it’s best to put your eggs in different baskets so, there are lots of things that keep me in tact such as, love in its many forms.
I’m curious, what are the strong forces that keeps your world together?
And yes, that’s me, stringy and ecstatic, in 2007.
in one-piece and not fall to pieces.

Dear Mother Earth,
Today was your day! 6.8 billion kids and your curves are still kickin’ girlfriend. Kids and those young at heart were out celebrating you. Yay!

Sorry if the closest I got to hug a tree today is hugging my desk as I tripped on it. Although, I occasionally trip on you, I think you are still the best. You are one priceless piece of rock.

No one knows exactly how old you are, but you’ve always been there to keep an eye out.

Sometimes, you have the moodiest clouds. But I don’t mind at all.

And, I love that you make flowers look like popcorn!

You’re the best planet a girl can ask for. Not only because my friends and family are here but you’re the only planet with chocolate. This billboard is right!

Love always,
May Peria

It all depends on how we look at things, and not on how they are themselves.

One night, I was stuck—for what felt like an eternity—at a red light.

I sometimes “dance” them away. Like this…
Unaware, I must have caught Mr. Man’s attention.

I was slightly embarrassed but I kept dancing. Good thing because he stopped his can collecting and gave me two thumbs up! A huge smile formed on my face as the light turned green.

Thank you Mr. Man! Your thumbs-up-of-approval fuels my patience at red lights, most of the time.
PS. I think safety first, of course. Otherwise, eternity will cease to exist.

It’s been busy. But, here’s a short recap of my weekend.
I had my super duper awesome 9-year old nephew over this weekend.
We colored eggs.
Then, my nephew and I spent some time trying to convince Humpty Dumpty not to jump.
We went to the park and watched kites flying behind us as we played with paratrooper action figures. It got pretty windy and mine got stuck in the tree!
The best part of my super adventure weekend with the nephew is…the silent drive back to his house with his nose buried in a book. Road to success to get him to read more!
